The Amethyst. Stereo photography is ideally suited to the presentation of jewelry, because it can accurately render the reflectivity (sparkle, luster, etc.) and transmissivity (transparency) of objects. On this page I present a pendant necklace of 14K yellow gold with a 25ct. amethyst. Also inset are 1.34ct. of Russian diamonds. The necklace is supported by hematite beads. A removable section allows the necklace to be worn as a choker. The matching ring of 14K yellow gold is inset with a 10ct. amethyst and 0.50ct. of Russian diamonds.
This photographic work is dedicated to the memory of George Moody (1944 - 1997). George was a wonderful artist working in the medium of precious metals and stones, and these stereo views are of his work.
