The Derringer. Delicate metalwork! For this picture I got very close with my standard 50mm f2 Pentax lens, using a stereobase of about 40mm with the camera on a slide rail. I would call this a "near-macro" shot - a perfect example of how stereo photography can be used to reveal or document the textural qualities of a work of fine craftsmanship. This is the kind of three dimensional product shot a seller needs to show (or transmit) to a remote buyer to help close the sale. Click here to see the studio set-up.
